The SX BJ404 is a 4-string tenor banjo with a natural matte finish, perfect for traditional music styles like jazz, Irish folk, and Dixieland. This banjo combines classic looks with modern build quality. The back and sides feature an okoume rim and flamed veneer resonator, which, together with the Remo head, deliver a clear, balanced tone. Its short 576 mm scale makes this model ideal for fast, rhythmic passages and chord playing.
The BJ404 features a nato neck with a rosewood fingerboard, white star inlays, and ivory binding. The 19 nickel frets and ebony-topped maple bridge provide accurate intonation and a comfortable playing experience. With 18 brackets, semi-closed tuners, a 2-way truss rod, and chrome hardware, this banjo is sturdy and reliable. It comes with a padded gig bag, ideal for travel or on stage.
