The Stentor SR1550A is a 4/4 violin set from the Conservatoire I series, handcrafted for advancing students and serious amateurs seeking a richer tone and a high-quality finish. The violin features a solid spruce top, solid maple sides, and a beautifully flamed solid maple back. The Shellax™ finish protects the wood and gives the instrument a warm, classic feel. The fingerboard, tuners, and frog are made of high-quality ebony for optimal playability and durability.
The set features synthetic gut strings and a lightweight metal tailpiece with four fine tuners for precise tuning. The included high-quality wooden bow is made with genuine horsehair and features a beautifully finished ebony frog. The luxurious fabric-lined case includes a shaper pad, hygrometer, music pocket, and shoulder straps. A complete and high-quality set for those serious about making music.
