The Stentor SR1400G2 is a 1/8-size violin set from the Student I series, designed for young children just starting to play the violin. The violin features a solid spruce top and solid maple sides, with a solid back for a full, bright tone. The fingerboard is made of black-stained hardwood, and the pegs and chinpiece are made of high-quality dark hardwood for reliable tuning and ease of play.
The set includes a Brazilwood bow with genuine horsehair and an ebony frog. The sturdy, lightweight case features a blue fabric lining, a music compartment, reflectors, and shoulder straps. The lightweight string holder with four fine tuners allows for quick and accurate tuning. Everything young violinists need to get started.
