The Stentor SR1400E2 is a half-size violin set from the Student I series, designed for young violinists who want to start on a solid, well-sounding instrument. The violin features a solid spruce top, solid maple sides, and a solid back. This produces a bright, projecting tone. The fingerboard is made of black-stained hardwood, while the pegs and chinpiece are made of high-quality dark hardwood for stable tuning and comfortable play.
The set includes a Brazilwood bow with genuine horsehair and an ebony frog, and comes in a lightweight case with a blue fabric lining, a music pocket, reflectors, and shoulder straps. The lightweight string holder with four fine tuners makes tuning easy. Everything young players need to get started with violin lessons.
