The Sire P5 A5F/DRD is an expressive 5-string fretless bass guitar with a striking Dakota Red finish, designed in collaboration with Marcus Miller. This passive P-style bass combines vintage flair with modern reliability. Its North American alder body delivers a balanced, warm tone with powerful lows and defined mids—ideal for melodic playing and smooth slides.
The neck is crafted from roasted hard maple and features a rosewood fretless fingerboard with Edgeless™ beveled edges for maximum playing comfort. The 47.6mm nut width provides ample room for five strings, making this bass perfect for extended harmonies or soloing. Passive electronics offer direct control via volume and tone controls, allowing the instrument's natural tone to shine. A stylish and versatile choice for the serious fretless bassist.
