The Optima 1001-LB E-1 4/4 violin E string delivers immediate response and bright, sparkling highs. Made of ball-end steel wire, it fits easily into ball-end tailpieces and delivers consistent intonation across the entire register. The light tension makes playing comfortable, which is especially beneficial for beginners who want to develop tonal control more quickly, but also ideal for advanced players who require fast articulation.
This E string brings out your upper register without heaviness or excessive tension, making it easier to play both classical etudes and light pop and jazz styles. Ideal for players seeking a quick response and a clear, present upper register, while maintaining playing feel and precision during long rehearsals or performances.
