Developed in collaboration with Jason Isbell, the Martin & Co MJI12T string set offers balanced tone with a familiar feel. This Artist Light set uses a traditional SP® core for a direct response and powerful projection. The phosphor bronze strings are treated with Lifespan® coating to prevent oxidation, allowing you to play longer with consistent tone quality.
The set has a 168.5 tension and a gauge of 012-054, ideal for guitarists who want to combine dynamism and control. The ball ends are silk-wrapped, which protects the bridge and provides a clean finish – perfect for vintage guitars. The MJI12T delivers a warm, clear tone, tailored to the sound Jason Isbell is known for.
