LAVA Music is a brand that has completely reinvented the guitar world. Founded in 2013 at the renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood by Louis Lu, Kayeung So, and Shin Tang , the name LAVA symbolizes passion and love that never ceases to flow – precisely the energy found in every instrument from this brand.

From traditional to future-oriented

Initially, LAVA sold guitars from other manufacturers. But founder Louis Lu saw that many brands were stagnating: the same models had been in production for 50 to 60 years, without any real innovation. His vision? Music is about the future, not the past. So LAVA started developing its own instruments, with a mission: to change the world through music.

Breakthrough: the LAVA ME series

In 2015, the first LAVA Guitar appeared, followed by the revolutionary LAVA ME . This guitar was the first unibody guitar, made from a single piece of wood, and later, in collaboration with KingFa Technologies, the groundbreaking AirSonic carbon fiber material was developed. This lightweight, durable, and sonically rich material set a new standard in guitar building.

On October 13, 2017, the original LAVA ME was introduced at the International Music Trade Exhibition in Shanghai – the world's first one-piece injection-molded guitar . The instrument combined modern design with ease of use and impressive sound.

• LAVA ME 2 (2018) – became the best-selling carbon fiber guitar in the world.
• LAVA ME 3 (2021) – the world's first guitar with a multi-touch display and its own operating system , including internet connectivity and creative apps. Within 10 months, users had already shared over 10,000 works via the LAVA+ social platform.
