More information about this Thomastik Infeld
The Thomastik Infeld THRO-01 E-string for 4/4 violin delivers a sweet, balanced sound with a refined blend of clarity and warmth. The carbon steel core responds instantly to your bow and pressure tension, ensuring stable tone over extended playing and repetitions. The tin-coated finish provides a smooth response and long tempo—combined with the removable ball end for easy installation on standard tailpieces. When played with the RO02 or RO02A A-strings, the E-1 takes on added character: warmer with RO02 or brighter with RO02A, while maintaining a smooth tonal range.
This string is ideal for players who want to fine-tune tonality without hassle. Whether you're practicing classically, sketching arpeggios, or pursuing expressive phrasing, the THRO-01 offers consistent response and reliable intonation. The removable ball end makes switching between different tailpieces quick and efficient, so you can always stay focused on the music.
