The Stentor SR1400I2 is a 1/16 scale violin set from the Student I series, designed for the very youngest beginner violinists. The violin is built with a solid spruce top and solid maple sides, with a solid back. This ensures a bright and stable tone. The fingerboard is made of black-stained hardwood, and the pegs and chinpiece are made of high-quality dark hardwood for reliable tuning and playing comfort.
The set comes complete with a Brazilwood bow with genuine horsehair and an ebony frog. The matching lightweight case has a blue fabric lining, a music pocket, reflectors, and shoulder straps. Thanks to the lightweight string holder with four fine tuners, the violin is easy to tune. A safe and practical choice for young children starting violin lessons.
