The Rotosound RS886LD Tru Bass 88 is a 6-string black nylon flatwound string set that delivers a deep, warm, and woody tone – a sound made famous by the Beatles’ Abbey Road album. With a string range of .050 to .135, this set offers smooth playability with a full tone, even in the lower registers. Bassist Herbie Flowers used Tru Bass strings for Lou Reed's Transformer , underscoring their legendary status.
