More information about this Pirastro
More information about this Pirastro
The Pirastro P315121 E-1 medium violin string, ball end, steel wound gut core, delivers a warm, full tone with excellent projection. The combination of a gut core and a steel wound winding provides the sensitivity and response of gut with the stability and durability of metal, ensuring the string remains reliable under temperature changes and long playing sessions. Thanks to the ball-end attachment, this string fits seamlessly on most modern tailpieces and guarantees a secure, quick installation. This E-1 medium is ideal for violinists who want to approach classical and chamber music repertoires with a sung, expressive tone, without compromising tension and consistency. The medium gauge offers balanced tension: sparkling articulation at forte yet supple enough for lyrical pianissimos, which contributes to accurate intonation and responsiveness during fast passages. Perfect for advanced players seeking a warm sound with reliable durability in both arco and pizzicato pieces.
