More information about this Pirastro
More information about this Pirastro
The Pirastro P219231 A-2 soft (13 1/4) is a gut-core violin string with aluminum winding, specifically designed for the A strings. Its soft tension produces quick, responsive articulation and a warm, fuller tone with subtle overtones, particularly suited to chamber music and the Romantic repertoire. The gut character provides an organic feel and a subtly vibrant mid-range, giving you a natural feel for the touch and making your tone more accessible during extended playing.
Thanks to the combination of a gut core and aluminum winding, this string maintains stability under light vibrato and delivers balanced projection. This A-string is ideal for violinists seeking a classic, expressive tone with reliable intonation and a durable playing experience during continuous rehearsals or performances.
