NitorLACK N177016108 is a one-component acrylic lacquer in Copper Metallic , a rare Fender finish that first appeared on the '52 Esquire and Telecaster . Although this color was not included in the standard custom color chart of 1960, the Fender Custom Shop has reintroduced it in recent years for exclusive and masterbuilt guitars. The warm copper tone provides a unique and luxurious look on any instrument.
The lacquer is designed for an even color application with a spectacular metallic effect . For a durable and visually deeper finish, it's essential to apply a clear polyurethane or nitrocellulose lacquer as a topcoat. This protects the color from wear and tear and allows the metallic sheen to truly shine.
