The LR Baggs Anthem is an advanced active microphone system for acoustic guitars, designed for live use without compromising studio microphone quality. At the heart of the system is the revolutionary TRU•MIC , which mounts directly beneath the bridge saddle and utilizes the PZM (Pressure Zone Microphone) principle for exceptionally natural and clear sound. Its unique mounting, just 3mm above the wood surface, delivers a dynamic and balanced soundstage with exceptional feedback rejection—even on stage.
The Anthem combines this high-quality microphone with the Element pickup , which adds definition and power to the low frequencies. The integrated, lightweight preamp is mounted in the soundhole and offers complete control with volume, mix, phase, and battery test functions. The mix control allows you to switch smoothly between pure microphone sound and pickup-only, ensuring the perfect balance for any playing environment.
