This reproduction of the machine heads offers a unique combination of materials and design that harks back to the classic looks and sounds of the past. The brass string posts and internal washers are the components used by Gibson® until 1975 and by Fender® until 1966. It's important to note that current versions of these parts are made of steel. Switching from steel to brass significantly improves vibration transmission, resulting in a sound reminiscent of vintage instruments.
