The Grip-Lock™ system securely clamps your strings, improving tuning and stability. Thanks to the patented UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate), you can install the machine heads without damaging, modifying, or altering your headstock. All you need is a 10mm wrench, so you can restore your vintage guitar with confidence.
Key Features:
- Vintage style tuners fit guitars with 11/32" [8.5mm] headstock holes
- All tuning machines have a post length of .827" [21mm]
- Includes UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 3+3 headstocks, fits guitars with three tuners on each side without drilling or special tools
- Grip-Lock™ pin and thumbwheel system clamps to your string without the need for windings
- 15:1 tuning ratio for quick adjustments
- Schaller® M6 Mini footprint*
- String post hole fits strings up to .060" (expansion to .090" available upon special request)
- Closed-back tuners come standard with hex knobs, with many knob options available
