Whether you prefer the added security of Grip-Lock tuners or the refined aesthetic of classic machines, the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) lets you upgrade your guitar without drilling or special tools.
Features of the Hipshot HS6K1EN0G Tuner Upgrade Kit:
- Standard tuners retrofit guitars with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes
The included UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 6 inline headstocks fits guitars with 6 tuners on a single side. No drilling or special tools required.
Open-gear tuners come standard with HS knobs. Closed-gear tuners come standard with Hex knobs. Many knob options are available.
- Choice between bass side or treble side mounting
- Open gear tuners have an 18:1 ratio. Closed gear tuners have a 15:1 ratio.
- The Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck dive
- The string post opening fits strings up to .060"
