D'Addario J5603-44M violin string D-3 4/4, medium, aluminum wound

The D'Addario J5603-44M D-3 violin string for 4/4 violins combines a Pro-Arté synthetic core with an aluminum-wound sheath. This combination produces a warm, refined tone and is less sensitive to humidity and temperature fluctuations, ensuring tuning stability under varying playing conditions. Because the string is designed with lower tension, the bow is more responsive, offers a balanced tone, and facilitates playing feel, especially in small ensembles or rehearsals.

This D string is ideal for violinists who play a lot of chamber music or regularly perform in small ensembles: the string provides direct bow response, consistent tone, and easy tuning, even on the road or under less than ideal conditions. With a synthetic core and aluminum winding, it combines ease of play with reliability over longer playing sessions, offering a warm, mellow tone that resonates well in ensembles where subtlety counts.
