Description
The Boston PN-21-PF is an affordable yet solid bass neck in classic PB style, ideal for building or upgrading your own bass. The neck is crafted from Canadian maple and features a pau ferro fingerboard—a durable, high-quality wood also found on custom shop models. Thanks to the built-in dual-action truss rod, you can perfectly adjust the neck for optimal playability and string action.
The fingerboard has a comfortable 9.5" radius, providing smooth playability with the low action found on many USA-made models. The nut width is 42mm, matching traditional P-style basses. The neck features 21 jumbo frets that are already flattened; only a final crowning and polishing are required. The paddle headstock offers creative freedom to design your own headstock shape, while the 18mm tuner holes accept standard bass machine heads.
