It could all be your hardware. This upgrade kit offers a risk-free way to increase your guitar's stability, so you can play in tune again!
Features of the Hipshot® Tuner Upgrade Kit:
- Easy to install thanks to the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) - no special tools required
- Replaceable and reversible to original condition without any traces of the upgrade
- Fits standard tuners with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes
- All tuning machines have a post length of .827" [21mm]
- The UMP™ is designed for 3+3 headstocks and fits guitars with 3 tuners on each side
- Open gear tuners have standard HS knobs; closed tuners come with hex knobs, with many knob options available
- Open gear tuners offer an 18:1 ratio, while closed gear tuners have a 15:1 ratio
- Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumbwheel system to clamp your string without the need for wraps
- The Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck dive
- String post hole accommodates strings up to .060"
- Covered by U.S. and foreign patents
