The Cort G280ST CB is an electric guitar that combines modern versatility with high-quality components and impressive looks. With an alder body and a flamed maple top , this guitar delivers a dynamic and rich sound, ideal for genres ranging from blues and rock to metal and fusion. The Trans Chameleon Purple finish provides a striking, luxurious look that subtly changes color in the light.
The bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard provides a warm, smooth playing experience, while the compound radius (12” - 15.75”) offers maximum control and comfort for both chording and fast soloing. With 22 frets and a 648 mm (25.5”) scale length, this instrument is perfectly suited to modern playing styles.
The Cort Voiced Tone pickups in an HSS configuration offer a wide range of tones. The VTH-77 humbucker in the bridge position delivers a powerful, saturated tone with plenty of sustain, while the VTS-63 single-coils in the neck and middle positions deliver sparkling cleans and dynamic crunch. The 5-way selector switch and tone control make it easy to switch between different sounds effortlessly.
For ultimate stability, the G280ST CB is equipped with a Cort CFAIII 2-point tremolo , featuring a steel block and steel plate for enhanced resonance. Locking tuners ensure precise and stable tuning, even with intensive tremolo use.
