Description
The Royall KOA12LS is a 12-fret tricone resonator with a cutaway, a solid Hawaiian koa body, and a lipstick single-coil pickup with volume and tone controls. This combination produces a warm, rich tone with extra definition, ideal for stage use. The three hand-spun 6" aluminum cones in a tricone arrangement provide a tone with plenty of sustain, nuance, and depth. The natural gloss finish accentuates the beauty of the koa and gives this guitar a professional look.
The satin-finish mahogany neck, wide 46mm nut, and rosewood fingerboard offer excellent playing comfort for both slide and fingerstyle. The slotted headstock with koa veneer visually complements the design. The lipstick pickup is connected to a Switchcraft jack, making the KOA12LS suitable for amplified use without compromising acoustic quality. This resonator comes with a lightweight soft case for safe transport.
