Description
The Royall KOA12DS is a 12-fret tricone resonator with a solid koa body and a dual pickup system: a humbucker and an undersaddle pickup with volume, tone, and blend controls. This makes it a versatile stage instrument, offering both the warm, acoustic tone of a tricone and the full, electric character of a humbucker. The three hand-spun 6" aluminum cones deliver a complex and rich resonator tone, while the cutaway gives you access to the higher positions on the neck.
The satin-finish mahogany neck, 46mm nut width, and rosewood fingerboard offer comfort for slide, fingerstyle, and chord playing. The koa wood with a natural gloss finish not only looks stylish but also contributes to the bright, defined tone. The KOA12DS comes with a lightweight soft case and is ready for any stage.
