Description
The Royall CH12SC/BRS Chess Cutaway SC is a 12-fret tricone resonator with an okoumé body, brown satin finish, and a built-in lipstick single-coil pickup. This guitar combines the rich, complex tone of three hand-spun 6" aluminum cones with the warm, earthy tone of wood. The cutaway provides easy access to the higher frets, and the lipstick pickup makes it instantly ready for amplified playing on stage.
The satin-finish mahogany neck, wide 46mm nut, and rosewood fingerboard with ivoroid binding provide a comfortable and stable playing experience. All instruments are hand-tuned in the Royall workshop by musicians who play resonator guitars. This version of the Chess series is ideal for those seeking a characterful, amplifiable resonator with a balanced and defined tone. Includes a lightweight foam case.
