The Stentor SR1400J2 is the smallest violin set in the Student I series and is perfect for very young children just starting to play the violin. The violin is constructed with a solid spruce top, solid maple sides, and a solid back, resulting in a stable and clear tone. The fingerboard is made of black-stained hardwood, and the pegs and chinpiece are made of high-quality dark hardwood, contributing to reliable tuning and playing comfort.
The set comes complete with a Brazilwood bow with genuine horsehair and an ebony frog. The lightweight case features a blue fabric lining, a music pocket, reflectors, and shoulder straps for safe and easy transport. The lightweight string holder with four fine tuners makes tuning easy. Ideal for the youngest students who want to start on a good instrument.
