Pirastro P904100 key paste helps ensure smooth and stable turning of tuning pegs on string instruments. By applying a thin layer to the areas where the tuning peg meets the tuning box, you reduce friction and prevent both slippage and jamming. This makes tuning more precise and easier, without damaging the wood.
The paste comes in a handy stick tube, similar to lip balm, allowing you to work cleanly and precisely. One or two applications is usually sufficient. Ideal for violin, viola, cello, or double bass, and suitable for both beginners and professional musicians.
