Description
The NitorLACK N260790108 is a nitrocellulose lacquer in the stylish color Oxford Grey, packaged in a 500ml can for use with a spray gun. Oxford Grey is inspired by classic American automotive paints and is currently used by the Gibson Custom Shop. Although this color wasn't used on vintage guitars from the 1950s and 1960s, it fits perfectly with the retro design of modern models with a nod to the past.
This lacquer is specially formulated for guitar projects and, when used with painting equipment, delivers a professional finish. Diluting it with NitorLACK Solvent Medium or Retard achieves the correct viscosity and prevents problems such as bubbling or hazing. Ideal for experienced guitar builders or restorers seeking a smooth, authentic, vintage-style finish. Thanks to its high pigment density and nitro-based formula, this lacquer offers excellent coverage and adhesion to prepared wood.
