NitorLACK N260787108 is a nitrocellulose lacquer in Ocean Turquoise, packaged in a 500ml spray-on can. This metallic color was used by Ford on its Mustang and Mercury automobiles in 1962 and later found its way onto Fender guitars of the 1960s. Ocean Turquoise is a vibrant blend of blue and green with a metallic sheen. Due to the natural yellowing of nitrocellulose, the color ages to a deeper green, making it a popular choice among enthusiasts seeking an authentic, vintage look.
This lacquer is based on original Fender colors and is ideal for guitar builders or restorers who work with spray equipment. The high pigment density and metallic finish provide brilliant coverage, especially when combined with a white base coat and clear top coat. For optimal application, it is recommended to thin the lacquer with NitorLACK Solvent Medium or Solvent Retard, depending on the environment.
