The TAD EL34STRBP/4 is a pair of four matched EL34 power tubes featuring the signature Blackplate™ design. These tubes deliver a warm midrange, tight bass, and a rich top end, with a smooth overdrive that perfectly complements both vintage and modern EL34 amplifiers. The tone closely resembles the NOS EL34 types from early tube production, giving you a natural and musical character—ideal for guitarists who want to maintain nuance and dynamics even at higher volumes.
Thanks to their thermally stable construction, these tubes offer consistent operation and extended lifespan. The TAD EL34-STR Blackplate is suitable for amplifiers from brands such as Marshall, Hiwatt, and Orange, and can also replace 6CA7 or KT77 types. Each tube is carefully selected and matched in Germany as part of TAD's Premium Selection Process. Production resumed in 2024 using original materials for authentic sound.
