This upgrade kit for 3+3 headstocks offers a risk-free way to improve your guitar's stability, so you can get back in tune.
The Hipshot tuner upgrade kit includes:
- Grip-Lock™ tuning machines or the more classic style to suit your preference.
- A UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) that makes installation effortless; no special tools are required.
- Ability to restore your guitar to its original state without any traces of the upgrade.
Specifications:
- Suitable for guitars with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes.
- All tuning machines have a post length of .827" [21mm].
- The UMP™ is specifically designed for 3+3 headstocks, perfect for guitars with 3 tuners on each side.
- Open gear tuning machines have a ratio of 18:1; the closed tuning machines have a ratio of 15:1.
- The Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumb wheel system that clamps securely onto your strings, without any windings.
- The Classic option features a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck dive.
- The string post opening is suitable for strings up to .060".
- This upgrade kit is covered by USA and foreign patents and is manufactured in Korea.
