Upgrade your vintage guitar with the Hipshot HS6K1VEL0CS Vintage Tuner Upgrade Kit, specifically designed for musicians who want to improve the consistency and accuracy of their instrument. This kit is the perfect solution for when your guitar goes out of tune mid-performance.
The Grip-Lock™ system securely clamps the string ends, helping you maintain perfect pitch. With an 11/32” [8.5mm] tuning post shank and the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate), you can install this upgrade without modifying your guitar's headstock. If you ever decide to reinstall your old tuners, you won't find any trace of the upgrade.
• Retrofits for vintage style tuners that fit in 11/32" [8.5mm] headstock bore
• Includes UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 6 Inline heads, suitable for guitars with 6 tuners on one side, without drilling or special tools
• Grip-Lock™ pin and thumb wheel system clamps easily around your string, no wrapping required
• 15:1 tuning ratio for quick adjustment
• Schaller® M6 Mini footprint
• String post hole accommodates strings up to .060" (upon request we can increase this to .090")
• Sealed tuning machines come standard with hex buttons, but many button options are available
