Give your guitar a great look and improve tuning stability at the same time with the Hipshot Tuner Upgrade Kit for 6 inline headstocks. Whether you want the added security of Grip-Lock™ tuners or the sleek look of classic machines, the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) allows you to upgrade without drilling or special tools. Plus, you can reverse the upgrade without leaving a trace.
Key Features:
- Standard tuners retrofit guitars with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes
Includes a UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 6 inline headstocks that fit guitars with 6 tuners on a single side. No drilling or special tools required.
Open-gear tuners come standard with HS knobs. Closed-gear tuners come standard with Hex knobs. Many knob options are available.
- Mounting options on the bass side or treble side
- Open gear tuners have an 18:1 ratio. Closed gear tuners have a 15:1 ratio.
- Staggered post option provides each string with the ideal break angle over the nut
- Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumbwheel system to clamp onto your string, no winding required
- Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck sliders
- String post hole fits strings up to .060"
