Give your guitar a great look and improve your tuning stability at the same time with the Hipshot Tuner Upgrade Kit for 6 Inline Headstocks. Whether you want the added security of Grip-Lock™ tuners or the sleek look of classic tuners, the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) lets you upgrade without drilling or special tools. Plus, you can painlessly return to the original setup without any evidence that you've ever upgraded.
- Standard tuners fit guitars with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes.
The included UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 6 Inline Headstocks fits guitars with six tuners on a single side. No drilling or special tools required.
Open-gear tuners come standard with HS knobs. Closed-gear tuners come standard with Hex knobs. A wide range of knob options are available.
- Bass side or string side mounting options.
Open-gear tuners have an 18:1 ratio. Closed-gear tuners have a 15:1 ratio.
- The staggered post option gives each string the ideal breaking angle over the bridge.
- The Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumb wheel system to clamp to your string, no winding required.
- The Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck dives.
- The string post hole is suitable for strings up to .060".
