Upgrade your guitar with the Hipshot HS6K1EL0BST Tuner Upgrade Kit and give your instrument not only a killer look but also improve tuning stability. This kit is perfect for six inline headstocks, making it easy to switch without drilling or needing any special tools.
The UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) makes upgrading a breeze, and rolling back the upgrade can be done without any proof that you ever upgraded.
Product details:
- Standard tuners retrofit guitars with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes.
Includes a UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 6 inline headstocks, suitable for guitars with 6 tuners on a single side. No drilling or special tools required.
Open-gear tuners come standard with HS knobs. Closed-gear tuners come standard with Hex knobs. Many knob options are available.
- Mounting options for the bass side or the treble side.
Open-gear tuners have a ratio of 18:1. Closed-gear tuners have a ratio of 15:1.
- Staggered post option gives each string the ideal break angle over the nut.
- The Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumb wheel system to clamp the string in place, without the need for wraps.
- The Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck dive.
- String post hole fits strings up to .060".
- Patented in the US and internationally.
