Description
The Boston SN-21-M is an ST-style guitar neck that makes an excellent foundation for a custom project or replacement. This neck is crafted entirely from Canadian maple, including a maple fingerboard with a maple cap—a construction popular in the late 1960s and still seen on high-end custom shop guitars today. Thanks to the built-in dual-action truss rod, the neck is easily adjusted for precise playability and comfort.
With a 9.5" fingerboard radius, this neck offers an ideal balance between traditional feel and modern playability, as you see on many American models. The 21 jumbo frets are already leveled and only need to be crowned and polished. The paddle headstock offers plenty of room to realize your own headstock design. The 10mm tuner holes are suitable for modern tuners; adapter bushings are required for vintage tuners. With a nut width of 42mm and a heel width of 56mm, this neck fits all standard ST-style guitar bodies.
