De Flight Iris Tenor Calantas is een tenor ukulele met een massief calantas bovenblad en mahonie achterkant en zijkanten. Het massieve bovenblad zorgt voor een warme, resonante klank met veel diepte. De mahonie body geeft extra balans en projectie, waardoor het instrument goed werkt voor zowel ritmespel als melodieën.
De tenor mensuur van 430 mm geeft meer ruimte op de hals en extra sustain. De gesleufde kop en offset positie markeringen geven het instrument een herkenbare uitstraling. De hals van okoume ligt prettig in de hand en de rosewood toets speelt soepel. De bone topkam en het gecompenseerde zadel helpen bij een stabiele stemming en nauwkeurige intonatie.
