The NUX Ace of Tone combines two iconic overdrive circuits into one pedal: the Tubeman MKII and the Morning Star . This combination allows guitarists to create their ideal overdrive sound , with versatile stacking and routing options.

- Two independent overdrives : Tubeman and Morning Star
- FAT mode (Tubeman): increases bass response for a warmer tone
- SHINE mode (Morning Star): Boost high frequencies for extra clarity
- Switchable effect order : Morning Star → Tubeman or Tubeman → Morning Star
- True Bypass / Buffered Bypass : choice between TB or BF via switch
- 9V/18V mode : internal voltage doubling for greater dynamic range

Left side (Tubeman)
- Drive : Adjusts the gain
- Tone : Determines the amount of treble
- Level : Adjusts the output volume
- FAT mode : Press and hold to turn on
Right Side (Morning Star)
- Drive : Adjusts the gain
- Tone : Determines the amount of treble
- Level : Adjusts the output volume
- SHINE mode : Press and hold to turn on
