The Dophix David Over Distortion is a handcrafted analog effects pedal with a wide gain range from crunch to distortion and fuzz . The pedal combines the dynamic response of an overdrive with the power of a distortion , and can even achieve extreme fuzz-like tones without sacrificing definition.
From Subtle Crunch to Raw Fuzz Sound
The David's gain range ranges from a light crunch to intense, layered distortion and even fuzz-like saturation . All this with a full, warm tone and excellent response to your playing style. The sound remains rich in harmonics, even at higher gain settings.
The inspiration for this pedal comes from Michelangelo's masterpiece, the Statue of David – a symbol of strength, precision, and expression. Just like the statue, this pedal exudes character, courage, and robustness .
