The Flight DUC460 Amara is a concert ukulele with an amara wood body. This wood, sourced from the rainforests of South America, is distinctive for its dark color and distinct grain. The laminated amara top and matching back and sides deliver a warm, clear tone with excellent projection.
The 18-fret concert size gives you more reach on the neck, making the instrument suitable for both chords and melodies higher up the fretboard. The African okoume neck is comfortable to hold, and the walnut fingerboard plays smoothly. The bone nut and saddle support stable tuning and accurate intonation. The arched back adds projection and volume.
