The Mad Professor Ruby Red Booster is a versatile boost and overdrive pedal that can be used for treble boost, clean boost, or overdrive . The various modes can also be combined , making this pedal a unique and versatile addition to your pedalboard.

With a 40dB gain boost, the Ruby Red Booster can overdrive your amplifier , allowing you to go from a subtle shimmer to a massive overdrive. Thanks to the reversible buffer, you can use the pedal in true bypass or buffer mode , which helps with treble and gain loss due to long cables or multiple pedals.

The Treble Booster is finely tuned to boost just the right frequencies without becoming harsh. This keeps your sound musical and balanced . The master volume knob gives you full control over the final volume, even when you add a lot of boost for distortion.

Operation

• MASTER – Adjusts the output volume of the pedal.
• TREBLE – Determines the amount of treble boost (up to +15dB).
• BOOST – Controls the amount of gain and can provide up to a 40dB boost.
• BUFFER (internally adjustable) – Switch between true bypass or buffer mode .

Possible Settings

• Treble Boost – Keep boost low, master at maximum, and adjust treble.
• Clean Boost – Treble low, master at maximum and adjust boost to taste.
• Overdrive/Distortion – Boost to maximum, adjust master and treble for extra effect.
